The Bill seeks to   provide social protection   for the vulnerable in society by financing and triggering uptake of health insurance in the county to protect our people from catastrophic health expenditures when   they seek medical   attention. Consequently, the   Bill seeks to reduce poverty, leakages   and increase household income.
THE NYAMIRA COUNTY WARD DEVELOPMENT FUND (WDF) BILL, 2014 HON. KENNETH NYAMEINO, MCA   12/23/2014 12/2/2014 12/11/2014 12/11/2014 The main objective of this bill is to establish a fund established by the Executive Committee Member responsible for finance with the approval of Nyamira County Executive Committee to be known as the Ward Development Fund in accordance with Section 116 of the Public Finance Management Act, (Cap 412C of the Laws of Kenya), into which the amount equivalent to 5% of the total County Government annual revenue shall be paid to facilitate development at the Ward level.

BENSON SIRONGA   12/23/2014 12/2/2014 12/11/2014 12/11/2014 The main objective of this bill is to provide   a framework for spatial planning; to specify the relationship between the spatial planning and the land use management   system and other kinds of planning; to provide for the inclusive, developmental, equitable and efficient spatial planning at the different spheres of government; to provide   for the monitoring, coordination and review of the spatial planning system; to provide a framework for policies, principles, and standards for spatial development planning; to promote greater consistency and uniformity in the application procedures and decision-making by authorities responsible for spatial planning and development applications; to provide for the establishment, functions and operations of spatial planning agencies;   to provide for the facilitation and enforcement of land use and development measures within the County
